As previously mentioned, some netaudio events are kicking off in Portugal. The first one will be held in Coimbra, at Quebra Bar [Rua de Quebra Costas, in the heart of the city]. Fernando [from MiMi Records], 120bpm and Deckhard will be taking over the sound system playing eccletic sets of netaudio.
Portuguese netlabel enough records will not physically be present but is also lending its unvaluable support.
Expect some goodies to be handed over to those who dare to show up.

«EnoughRecords is a Portuguese netlabel, there are other few netlabels from Portugal, but we happened to be the first. Deeply rooted in the demoscene culture, our path towards world domination consists on distributing music we enjoy listening to - from friendly people who want to release through us - for free.
We are heavily obsessed with the beauty locked within music and the disturbingly immense power of computers in modern society. We also feel the world has been littered and missguided with ergonomic pop formulas for too long, and although we aknowledge that we can't really change the music industry, nor guerrilla market ourselfs to popular stardom, we still strive to provide alternatives for artists and listeners who share our taste in bedroom-studio music. We believe music should be free. So if you enjoyed listening to one of our releases, share it with your friends and the world, just don't charge money for it and try to mention it was released at enough. Above all, let the artists know their music is beeing played, heard, understood and enjoyed by other people across the globe.
We slowly came to realize we pursue a focus on IDM, glitch, postrock, industrial noise and dark ambient. Howhever, we are open to other genres as long as it sounds good and clicks something inside of us. Our plan is to simply release soothing sounds, emerging landscapes, from Portugal, Europe, World, into the cyberspace for whomever will listen. And hopefully meet some friendly talented people while we are at it. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it...»

«test tube (or '| - apostrophe+pipe - for short) is a Portuguese netlabel, focused on presenting new artists exploring new sounds. Be they electronic or acoustic.
Let's think of test tube as a test tube - literally - for emerging sound languages.
test tube will be releasing EPs and LPs on mp3 or other digital formats, with artwork thinked and designed by aeriola::behaviour. We see our releases as a whole.
The music released on test tube, remains intellectual property of the artists. It is solely for free distribution and promotion, with no intent on financial gain. All works must be credited to the artist: Keep the tags intact.
NOTE:
Although test tube is a sublabel from mono¨cromatica, a physical music label, its releases will always be distributed free. However, that doesn't mean a test tube artist will not, in the future, be subject to a proper m¨c release.»

«It all started when the Japanese Embassy in Portugal sponsored a traditional concert of japanese music and dancing that took place in our country, in order to commemorate the 460 years of Japanese/Portuguese Friendship.
The concert came to an end, but the thought of continuing this friendship trough "new music" remained ; thus, MiMi was born.
MiMi is a project concerning the release of japanese and portuguese music [with a preference for electronic sounds such as glitch / i.d.m / ambiental / noise / misc. electronic]. It's also a good way to achieve musical exchange from these two countries.
For now, all releases will be in mp3 format, although we are considering the release of some limited CD-R that might include handmade covers or special editions.»
